FERRARI was our $4000 private-treaty purchase from Doug Loof. He is out of HRR11 Lightning 11-3 and the Reserve Gilt @ the 2012 Indiana State Fair Open show sired by MG Dozer 2-8.
Our goal is to offer the most elite genetics available in every breed and we are as confident that FERRARI fits that bill as any boar in stud. If he does not have a significant impact to help continue the improvement of the Tamworth breed, we will be very surprised. We purchased Ferrari very late in the season and he is very young but it has been a blast to see visitor’s faces when we roll him out. His back legs look like a FLUFFY show steer ready for the grand drive. Huge topped, cool fronted, huge ribbed, and perfect Tamworth breed characteristics.
Very unique and interesting breeding piece.
Not a ton of folks got see Ferrari as he got here very late last fall so he was used very lightly last fall. But in VERY few litters Ferrari produced the Champion Tamworth Barrow, the 4th Overall Tamworth Barrow, & the 5th Overall Tamworth Gilt @ Team Purebred Nationals .
